Tomorrow's headline is a yellow thunderstorm warning from the Department of Meteorology, active from 21:00 tonight until 16:59 tomorrow: isolated heavy storms, first over the western half of the island then spreading eastward, with local hail and gusts up to 8 Beaufort. Behind that, a much milder day: Nicosia 26°C (feels 29°C), Limassol 30°C, Larnaca 28°C (feels 31°C), Paphos 27°C, and Troodos just 19°C (feels 18°C). Rain odds peak in Paphos at 80% and Paralimni at 50%, lowest in Nicosia at 35%. UV stays high at 7 across the lowlands, easing to 6 in Troodos.

The sea stays swim-friendly at 28-29°C, with calm waves around 0.1-0.2 m.

Cyprus wakes to another warm, humid morning after four stations recorded a tropical night — Pentakomo is already the hottest spot at 26.2°C. Today stays hot everywhere but Troodos: highs reach 34°C in Nicosia and Polis Chrysochous, 32°C in Limassol, Larnaca and Paralimni-Protaras, and 30°C in Paphos, with feels-like temperatures climbing to a sweltering 38°C in Polis and 36°C in Limassol. Troodos stays milder at 24°C. Paphos is today's wildcard, with a 58% chance of rain, while Limassol and Polis see a lighter 23-25% risk and the rest of the island stays largely dry. The sea remains ideal for swimming, 27-28°C from Limassol to Protaras with calm waves under half a metre. Tomorrow cools off noticeably, with highs easing to the mid-to-high 20s and just 19°C on Troodos.
