Today topped out at 41.6°C, recorded at Athalassa — Cyprus's hottest spot again. 11 stations logged a tropical night, so the heat barely eased overnight, and no rain fell anywhere on the island.

Tomorrow is another hot, dry day. Nicosia leads at 38°C (feels like 42°C), with Polis Chrysochous close behind at 36°C (feels 41°C), and Paralimni & Protaras and Larnaca both near 34-35°C. Limassol reaches 33°C (feels 38°C), Paphos stays milder at 31°C (feels 36°C), and Troodos is the coolest escape at 28°C (feels 29°C). UV hits a very high 8 everywhere, so sun protection matters through midday, and no rain is expected anywhere.

The sea stays warm and calm for swimming, around 28-29°C along the south and west coasts.

A yellow heat warning is in force today from the Department of Meteorology, 13:00 to 15:59, with temperatures expected near 41°C inland and around 32°C over the Troodos peaks.

Nicosia is the hot spot at 40°C, feeling like 43°C, followed by Polis Chrysochous at 37°C (feels 42°C). Larnaca and Paralimni & Protaras both reach 35°C (feels 40°C), Limassol hits 34°C (feels 40°C), and Paphos stays comparatively mild at 31°C (feels 38°C). Troodos offers the coolest air at 28°C. Overnight stayed muggy, with 16 of the 53 reporting stations logging a tropical night; Kampos is currently the warmest at 27.8°C.

The sea remains excellent for swimming, from 26.9°C off Limassol to 28.8°C off Larnaca and Protaras, with calm waves up to half a metre. Tomorrow eases slightly everywhere, with Nicosia down to 38°C and Polis Chrysochous to 36°C.
