Cyprus topped out at 37.2°C today, the island's hottest reading coming from Athalassa, with no rain reported anywhere in the past 24 hours.

Tomorrow eases off a touch across most of the island. Nicosia stays the hottest at 35°C, feeling like 37°C, with lows near 22°C. Larnaca reaches 32°C, Limassol and Polis Chrysochous 31°C, Paralimni and Protaras also 31°C, and Paphos the coolest of the lowlands at 29°C. Troodos stays mild, topping out at 24°C with a feels-like of 25°C and a cooler 14°C overnight. UV runs high tomorrow, 7 across the lowlands and 8 in the Troodos mountains, so sun protection matters through midday.

The sea stays swim-friendly, around 28°C along the coast with gentle waves under a metre.

Cyprus is in for another hot day. Nicosia is the hottest inland city at 35°C, feeling like 36°C. Larnaca and Paralimni & Protaras follow at 32°C, feeling like 34-35°C, while Polis Chrysochous reaches 33°C, feels 35°C. Limassol sits at 31°C, feels 34°C, and Paphos is the coolest coastal spot at 29°C, feels 33°C. Troodos remains the escape from the heat at 25°C, feels 26°C. It was a warm night too, with four stations recording tropical nights; Achna is currently the hottest reporting station at 23.8°C. No rain is expected anywhere today.

The sea stays inviting for a swim, around 28 to 28.5°C from Paphos to Protaras, with calm, gentle waves under half a metre.
