Cyprus hit its hottest point of the day at 39.4°C in Mammari, and last night was tropical at 21 stations, with no rain reported anywhere in the past 24 hours.

Tomorrow stays hot island-wide. Nicosia and Polis Chrysochous lead at 37°C, feeling like 40°C and 39°C with the humidity; Larnaca reaches 34°C, Limassol and Paralimni/Protaras 33°C (feels-like 38°C and 37°C), and Paphos is the coolest coastal spot at 30°C. Troodos stays far milder at 26°C, dropping to 18°C overnight. UV is very high (index 8) everywhere, so plan sun protection. Nicosia has the best rain chance at 23%; elsewhere it stays essentially dry.

The sea remains warm for swimming, from 27.3°C in Limassol up to 29.6°C off Paphos, with calm waves around 0.5-0.7m.

Nicosia and Polis Chrysochous both top out near 37°C, and Polis will feel closer to 43°C in the afternoon heat — the island's toughest conditions today. Limassol, Larnaca and Paralimni & Protaras all sit in the low-to-mid 30s with feels-like readings near 39°C, while Paphos stays a touch cooler at 31°C. UV runs high (7–8) everywhere, so shade and water matter by midday. Troodos is the outlier: a cooler 26°C high but a 65% chance of showers. The sea stays warm for swimming, from 26.8°C off Limassol to 29.1°C at Larnaca, with calm, gentle waves. Tomorrow brings more of the same heat, easing only slightly in Paphos.
